Our Origins…

I founded A Versatile You® in 2016 as a creative outlet while raising my family, beginning with handmade handbags designed for everyday artisans and moms. By 2019, the brand was evolving into a home collection featuring candles and shower steamers. That same year, my life shifted when I learned I was expecting our second child—a joyful yet overwhelming surprise. Navigating pregnancy during the height of the pandemic was especially challenging, as isolation made it difficult to lean on the community and extended family support that is so essential during that time. Despite those hardships, we were blessed with a healthy child, which remains my greatest joy and continues to inspire the purpose behind my work.

At the same time, the pandemic brought business activity to a halt. As an artisan, I felt a strong desire to channel my creativity and skills into something meaningful. I turned to aromatherapy, developing products that helped me cope with stress, anxiety, and insomnia. What began as personal self-care essentials soon became something I wanted to share with others—especially new mothers and women facing similar struggles.

From this vision, A Versatile You® was transformed. Our brand combines aromatherapy and natural skincare to create holistic, non-medicated self-care essentials designed to nurture the body, calm the mind, and uplift the spirit. Every product is handcrafted with intention, using premium botanicals to provide both physical relief and emotional renewal.

Today, we are proud to be a small, woman- and minority-owned business committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our customers. Our mission is not only to provide skin-loving, aromatherapy-infused products, but also to empower others to prioritize their well-being. As a stay-at-home mom turned entrepreneur, I also see this journey as an opportunity to model resilience and purpose for my children—showing them that progress, creativity, and service can be at the heart of building a fulfilling life and business.
